Rev. Dr. Marva Edmonds Ph.D has been an Associate Minister of the Guyana Unity Church, since 1978. She founded the West Demerara Unity, Lilies Of the Field in Guyana South America and The Truth Center of Divine Awareness Organization located at 325 Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
Her studies began at the University of Healing, where she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Metaphysical Science and became an Ordained Minister in February of 1993.

In 1994 she enrolled in the International Metaphysical Ministry and later obtained her Masters of Metaphysical Science M. Msc ., a Doctor of Metaphysical Science Msc.D and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., specializing in Life Counselling.

She is also a Certified Workplace and Employee Chaplain as as well as a Certified Holistic Life Coach. She is also a Member of the Prajapita World Spiritual University, which teaches Raj Yoga Meditation
Dr. Edmonds Conducts Sunday Services and Wednesday Prayer and Bible Classes. She teaches Self Realization Classes, does baptism, Weddings and Memorials Services along with performing hospital visits and visit the ‘Shut Ins'.
